Hi! I received the OPI Muppets Collection a few days ago in the mail and I was so excited, I'm totally a Muppets fan! I was able to swatch a few of the polishes even though I have not seen the sun come out in a week. Some of the pics could be better and as soon as the weather improves I'm gonna re-take them and update this post but for the time being here they are. Designer... De Better! This was described as light metallic bronze, but it looks more like a champagne foil with bronze flecks to me. Really easy to apply and one of my favs in the collection. The pics below are 3 coats but you can get away with 2. Warm & Fozzie "Metallic Copper" This one to me looks like copper base with a lot of pink and gold tiny glitter. It actually surprised me how pretty this polish is. Animal-isticA really bright red jelly with tons of glitter. This is 3 coats. Pepe's Purple Passion I already posted this one on a previous entry but I'll include it here too just in case you missed it. This isn't actually purple it's more of a magenta color with tons of flecks. The application was amazing, only one coat needed but the finish it's kind of tricky because it swallowed the top coat. Meep - Meep - Meep This is a fuchsia jelly with glitter flecks, I actually don't have much to say about it. I like it but it's nothing new to me. Wocka Wocka The application of this polish blew my mind it is extremely pigmented, just one coat needed. I was expecting to see a little bit of the silver shimmer that I saw in the bottle but it wasn't there on the nails. Excuse Moi! This is one is gorgeous, a pink jelly base with rainbow hexagonal glitter. It dries on the matte side so you might want to add a top coat, this was 3 coats. If you are still reading this at this point, thank you sooo much for the patience. I hope you like the pics and if you want more pics of any particular color let me know and I'll take some more.
Enjoy your weekend! Hi guys! So excited for today's post because I have one of the polishes from the OPI Muppets Collection which I received last night in the mail. :-) This polish caught my eye since I opened the package and I knew it was the first one I wanted to try, because of the awesome flakie glitter on it. The application was amazing, this is a one coat wonder but I used two coats in the pictures because I wanted to make sure the color was even on my nails, I also have a thin coat of Seche Vite. I tried to take the best pics I could this morning before going to work but the sun never showed up. Finally a close up of this beauty's bottle. What do you think? It is going to your wish list?
